The awards ceremony is a formal occasion held at the school to award students with the belts and/or certificates they earned at a rank or instructor testing. Parents, relatives, and friends of the students are welcome to attend the ceremony to show their support for the students and the hard work they put in to earn their promotions. Students receiving awards must wear a complete, clean, and pressed Taekwondo America approved uniform, and should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the starting time. Our awards ceremony is normally held at the school at 5:30 pm on the Wednesday after the testing day. Visitors are encouraged to bring cameras and video recorders to document the occasion. After the ceremony, Mr. Alexander and other instructors will gladly pose with students for photographs. Results will only be given at this official awards ceremony. DO NOT CALL the school to ask about results. Students and parents who wish to discuss testing results should make an appointment with Mr. Alexander during the week after the awards ceremony. Mr. Alexander will be happy to discuss how the student may improve his or her performance before the next testing and will set up a training plan specially designed for the student. |
